Think about influence from your buyer's perspective. When they decide that they have to interact with one or more salespeople, they have a choice.
They have limited amount of time to devote to this task.
Therefore, they have to carefully choose which sellers are worth the investment of their time and attention.
Which one(s) will help increase their chances of achieving their desired outcomes?
Whom should they allow to influence the choices they have to make?
Now,
You cannot pitch someone on why they should trust you.
You can't explain to someone why they should build a relationship with you.
They have to experience you.
Like Maya Angelou says,
"People will forget what you said. People will forget what you did. People will never forget how you made them feel."
As salespeople I think we should hang these words on our wall 🙌
