Put and End to Salesy!

 Stop being "salesy"!!!

Let's look at salesy from the buyer's perspective. Shall we?

Being salesy is a way of makings buyers squirm.

Ask yourself this question: Is "being more salesy" the answer to helping buyer

❓define the problem they need to solve

❓make sense of the information I provide

❓understand their options for achieving their most important thing

❓calculate the value of my solution, or

❓make an informed decision?

Is being more salesy the right approach? The answer is a deafening "NO!"

So if being salesy isn't the answer to anything useful, why do we do it?

Experts in the past have concluded that it's because of how we are trained.

But I haven't experienced such training in a #b2b #saas environment.

But still worked with salespeople who are... salesy.

A closer look, tells me that it's not the training, but the mindset with which these people sell.

The moment they get on a call, their personality changes.

They become a different person, extra chirpy and bring on a fake excitement that's tempering.

It's like a toggle that'd say "Sales Mode On"

Folks, #sales isn't a pretence game.

You can sell without having to compromise on your integrity and authenticity.

Take control of how you sell and learn how to succeed on our own terms.
