Listen to what they mean!
You cannot be a successful salesperson if you can't read between the lines of what your prospect is communicating..
How often do you ask your prospect "Well, is this what you're looking for?"
And your prospect says, "Yeah..."
Now, most salespeople take that for an answer and move on with the demo.
But if you had paid attention to their tonality, you might have noticed that they might be telling you differently.
When you notice that, you should ask them "Well, Jack when I asked you that question ... you seemed a little hesitant, what's behind it?"
Prospect be like, "No, Akshaya it's just that I'm a little confused about..."
Right there, the answer you'll need for the deal to progress.
In sales tonality is underrated. But if you can master it. It's gonna be difficult to compete with you 😉
A great salesperson knows how to read between lines.
