The Not-So-Secret Secret to Connecting with a Buyer

What's the not-so-secret secret to connecting with a buyer?

It's simple:

Be a good human.

Be respectful.

Be curious and interested in the other person.

Be other-oriented. Be helpful. Add Value.

You'd think that I shouldn't state the obvious. Unfortunately, I do.

There are some who'd have you believe that a good connection with a buyer isn't that vital.

Feel free to take your chances with that approach.

Many would have you believe that it's enough to know how to pitch the product well and talk about ROI.

It won't work.

It costs you absolutely nothing to be a good person.

It doesn't take more time. It doesn't take money.

It's one of the few things in sales that is truly easy to do and that is completely under your control.
